Matt Keri

Economic Development Incentives Consultant

Matt Kerri is a member of Sikora Law’s economic development incentives team, helping Clients identify and pursue incentives and public financing for real estate development projects throughout Ohio. He brings a background in development finance and urban planning, with experience connecting public resources to projects that strengthen communities.

Prior to joining Sikora Law, Matt served as a Senior Development Finance Analyst with the Cuyahoga County Department of Development, where he underwrote and structured financing for real estate and business development projects. He previously served as a Development Finance Analyst with the City of Cleveland’s Department of Economic Development. His experience evaluating project feasibility and guiding funding requests through public approval processes gives him a practical understanding of how public agencies assess projects and what developers need to demonstrate to secure support.

Matt earned his Master of Urban Planning and Development from Cleveland State University and his Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Case Western Reserve University. He also holds the Economic Development Finance Professional designation from Grow America.

Matt lives in Cleveland Heights with his wife and two children and serves on the Cleveland Heights Planning Commission. He has a strong interest in neighborhood revitalization, thoughtful real estate development, and the continued growth of Northeast Ohio.
