In his role as Government Affairs Chair for NAIOP Northern Ohio, Mike Sikora has been communicating with the City of Cleveland Council President and Cleveland’s Chief Policy Director to bring about legislation that would streamline the Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) approval process in the City of Cleveland and bring it in line with other cities throughout Ohio. The proposed changes would improve the process for formally approving PACE special assessments, while still requiring the approval of the Ward Councilperson. Further discussions with City Council and City Administration are taking place to advance the legislation.
