Sikora Law pursued a case for a major Central Ohio developer involved the breach of a lease for a large warehouse space located in a free trade zone. After a great deal of litigation, Sikora Law obtained a judgment on behalf of the developer that allowed recovery of all outstanding amounts due under the contract.
Sikora Law was retained to represent a major commercial real estate investor that purchased a motel in Ashland County and seventy acres of surrounding farmland. The selling company filed suit to attempt to reform the transaction and sought the return of the surrounding land based upon a claim of mutual mistake. The buyer prevailed at the trial court level and that decision was affirmed by the Court of Appeals. See Starman, Inc. v. Jaftak Realty Investments, Ltd., 2006-Ohio-779, 2006 WL 401628.
Sikora Law served as counsel for major developer, Covington Realty Partners, on a 36 million dollar deal involving the proposed construction of a luxury apartment complex in Beachwood, Ohio.
